What abut this as a minimum wage proposal?

$25 an hour, nationwide, AND increases are tied directly to the annual calculated inflation rate. Inflation is at 5%: minimum wage goes up five percent across the board. Inflation is 8%: minimum wage increases 8%. That way there is no need to try to get the attention of bloated politicians who already make too much money and try to convince them that those who are at the bottom of the compensation ladder need another “raise” after they ignore it for two or three decades at a time. And no exceptions for tipped or agricultural workers. No crap about it being “too much” for employers. If you're not paying a fair living wage, you don't deserve to be in business.
