I took the plunge and handed in my notice (via email) last Wednesday. Had a meeting with my boss who said they won’t accept it until I’ve had time to think about it, to which I told them I’ve made up my mind. They replied to the email on SATURDAY saying they’ve accepted it and my last working day is this Friday.
I handed my notice in at a specific time, because this week is incredibly important to the company if you’re in the upper echelons, not so much at my level, but they’re going to use and abuse me.
Where do I stand? Their email says my last day is Friday, can I just argue that I sent my resignation on Wednesday? Can I just… not show up this week?
