What are r/antiwork’s thoughts on the military?

As a person who is emerging into the real world graduating highschool and dabbling in college with the only work experience being part time in retail for the past couple years I start to research the military. The one thing that sticks out the most to me is the GI bill which fully pays for your college up to a bachelors degree IIRC. College debt as a young man is very intimidating way to start my professional life and the military offers a way out of said debt. The question I’m asking is if anyone has any military experience is it worth “selling my soul” to the military for the benefits and hopefully finding an enjoyable and prosperous career, or should I go with the flow and hope something better turns up?
