My daughter just graduated from college in December and has applied for weekend work to make her new meet. A restaurant asked her to come in and will pay $10-11.25. She went and they made copies of her driver’s license and social security card and had her train and do tasks while there. The next day she gets a text saying they don’t have anyone to train her, and that she won’t be paid because they didn’t hire her. She not so much worried about the pay but feels this is unjust. While she was there, an employee walked out and is being hired back.
