So I’m an assistant manager at 1 of about 13 stores in uk.
Employees recently got pay rise due to minimum wage going up, they get a bit extra than minimum wage.
I am salaried £20k and been on that since I started jan this year.
After the payrise, the staff are getting just under £20k a year, I asked if I will be getting a payrise too and my manager said they are going to review it at the end of the year.
I’d like to add I’m lucky to have this job but definitely feel underpaid and as a result lost a lot of motivation.
