Oh I don’t know, how about leave me the fuck alone?
Full context: manager found out I was quiet quitting because I have been backing up my work templates to SharePoint with notes for my teammates so that I can GTFO as soon as I got a new job. Manager tried to have a “hEaRt-To-HeArT” with me and asked me for a list of grievances that they can “work on improving”.
It’s sad that the list of grievances is so long I wouldn’t know where to begin. It’s even sadder that they’ll never see the list cuz I know they’ll get incredibly offended.
Any way, here’s the list of grievances that they won’t get to see until I put in my notice:
- Advertised for a data analyst intern, hired me as a data analyst, have me do 80% project admin work and 20% data analytics, then gave me a mediocre review for not excelling at a job that I didn’t sign up for.
- Allows coworkers with kids to take entire flexi-days off with no questions asked. Gave me shit for WfH on a day I said I would come in because my pet bird had died.
- Also gave me shit PUBLICLY for coming in sick with a non-infectious illness.
- Refuses to accommodate my ADHD and PUBLICLY mocks me for my tendency to forget what I’m saying mid-sentence, and inability to concentrate without headphones.
- Said I “can’t take criticism” when in the immediate next sentence admitted that all issues pointed out to me had been acted upon and improved. So which the fuck is it cuz it can’t both?
- Blamed me for a project being stuck for 2.5 years. Bitch you’re a multiple-billion dollar MNC. I was a literal part-time student intern for 1.5 of those years making $20 an hour. What the fuck did you expect to achieve?
Why even try to keep people from quitting when you were treating me like shit anyway if I stayed?
