Context: an (now-ex) coworker was receiving inappropriate texts, slurs, and image(s). I was being investigated by HR because the texts involved my name and another person. When being questioned I stated that I could possibly be being framed for this. I was then later fired for my “demeanor” during the ( HR investigation) questioning and under suspicion. However I do not know or have the number that was sending these texts. I got a new job at the same airport as a ramp agent again. Tonight, (just a few days after starting the new job) I ran into the same coworker that was receiving these texts and I said “wassup (name)” he just shook his head and looked down after making eye contact with me. Do you think he will tell my current employer what has happened? Will I be okay? Being at the same airport and having to use the same bus route doesn’t help and that’s how I saw him. I don’t know if this will affect my current job either.
