I'll be vague to avoid doxing or breaking rules. 4 months ago I left a job in admin for a lower status (slightly higher pay) job as a house cleaner. My boss sucked and that's why I left, but the people I supported, I loved. My boss was rude when I left, especially about what I was going to do.
Now she calls me (I guess she's been calling me for a couple weeks, I had her # blocked now but she bothered my friend to get me to call) and an important compliance function I used to do she's totally messed up and she's asking me all these questions. I said I was working and to send me an email because I didn't know what to say in the moment.
I don't want to leave my old coworkers or the company in a bad position on this compliance issue. She is not the owner or anything. I have no animosity to the company in general. I can tell from the questions she's asking what probably happened and it's going to take forever to fix.
I just want to live my life and not deal with her or speak to her. She made a job I somewhat liked into a job I hated. Now I am stuck in a job that's super tiring and really hard to get out of. I took the job but if it wasn't for her I'd still be there. (I should say my co-workers and boss now are all fine, but it's not the greatest job)
What should I do? I definitely could solve this problem for them but it would take a minute. I can't even really just explain it without basically doing it. Also I hate the sound of her voice.
