For anyone thinking this isn't happening already. A number of graphic artist already been replaced by AI artist.
Ghost writers, coders, and others are starting to be hit.
There is upcoming coding AI that is being made where you tell it generally want you want like you were talking to a person. And it does it. GPT 4 you can do a napkin drawing and it will make it.
Here is a video on some of the upcoming stuff

Here is OpenAI where they show off GPT4, and at the end they got into the drawing. It's around 16 minutes in.

AI is threating game developers, video makers (movies/TV shows/YouTube), and other types of creative fields.

It is expected that current generation truck drivers are likely safe. BUT future generation might not have a place outside of extremes due to self driving.
AI is learning how to program and adapt robots to changing situations that it never been program for before. GPT5 is being developed with this. Meaning if you have a general humanoid
I can go on, but I'm sure everyone can see my point (note even medical, teaching, etc is being threaten. It is likely to take far longer, but some generation in the future it will likely start taking over these fields)
______
So clearly, this is happening. As mention, it is likely if your job requires physical hardware like a truck. Then you're the last generation or safe for a little while until robotics is developed a bit more. If your job is mostly or purely digital. It is extremely likely your job is at risk.
What do you think about this?
IMO I'm EXTREMELY happy about this. Like I'm not happy about a lot of people suffering. It sucks a lot of people will end up homeless and so on. But I'm extremely happy about AI and robotics because it forces the gov to take UBI serious. It forces our society to change from a mandatory work to more of a luxury and fun.
It's even likely this will bring us to a life without money (I doubt in my lifetime). Where we simply won't need money in the future. I'm 50/50 on the ownership thing, and I think this will be a thing. But I think once you take away the need of money, you will take away some people affording a place to live and others not.
It will be a true work for the passion and not work to just stay alive.
I could be wrong. But what do you think?
Do you think AI/robotics will take over the job market?
Do you think it will kill off the need of jobs? (meaning the gov does the right thing)
Do you think it will kill off the need of money?
What do you think life will be like if this happens?
