Sooo I'm 21M just moved to Belgium, and I started working at this company they have a bunch of CNC maschines and a bunch of old hydraulic presses.
I am supposed to start low and then become one of the main people for the CNC department (to make programs on the computer and make their technical drawings)
When I went to sign the contract story, it went like this.
“You seem to be a quick learner and you already know a lot so we will send you on 3 courses and then slowly, you will progress upwards.
They did send me on those courses and gave me some time to practice by myself, but they don't even want to try it out and now they keep sending me to presses because there is not enough work for CNC and they keep trying to leave me at home because there is no enough work (same for other workers)
I also don't know if my salary is good I know I'm a starter but now I gained quite a lot of skill that they don't use
-My salary is 15€
So my question is should I try and go somewhere else in my opinion it will be extremely hard because of these reasons:
-
I will have to drive further my current work is only 8km away
-
There is a low chance of anyone hiring me because I don't know the language
-
There is a low chance of anyone hiring me because I only have 4 months of experience
