I've been applying for a new job since the start of the pandemic mostly work from home and I have received email rejections from every one. I currently work as a blue collar worker as a security guard. I have been doing this for 4 years and looking for something different. Prior to this I have worked at a computer repair shop, before that I helped my dad at his store from time to time. I did go to community college but I did not get a degree as I dropped out. I have looked into a few remote jobs even entry level type jobs like: data entry, virtual assistant, social media manager, customer service, etc. I see job requirements like:
Have fast wifi.
Have a quiet work space.
45 to 65 wpm typing speed.
Know various Microsoft office programs.
And a few others. All of these requirements are things that I can clearly do. The problem is I am still getting rejection emails from other companies. I only had 1 interview but that was more of a webinar thing with 114 other people and I felt like it was a pitch for a MLM. What do I need to do in order to get qualified for even beginner remote jobs?
