What happened, anti-work generation?

I watch videos like this one (https://youtu.be/B_ocfDhf610) posted by this Amazon driver and it makes me a little sad. I thought that we as a society had a little momentum going towards quality of life in the workplace, on the heels of the ideals set by young people today. I thought the founders of the anti-work movement were finally standing up for themselves. But all I see in actual day to day life are younger workers bowing to any and all demands set before them by employers. I would literally rather live under a bridge than work under the conditions described in the above video. Yet the average age of an Amazon driver is in the mid-20s. I've personally put off having a family for 20+ years already – largely due to these continuing economic conditions. It's no exaggeration to say I would rather take to the streets than perpetuate…

Where did we go astray when we were seemingly on the right path to achieving quality of life changes for the entire American workforce?

And more importantly, where is it going to get us? Do you (we) think we're going to get ahead as individuals and as a society by working in environments where you can't take a drink, can't take a few seconds to enjoy a sunset while on the job? Where is that going to lead our entire culture as a whole?

Even here at the post office, a government agency, the working conditions for certain positions such as rural and city carrier associates is borderline dystopian – forced to use personal vehicles for years on end, with only the most meager of compensation. Some of them don't even get paid at all unless they meet certain delivery criteria and end up essentially working for free. It's beyond barbaric.
