I just sat in at a meeting where someone made a comment about seeing an increase in injured workers being older, I.E. late 60s. He said it's because companies don't offer pensions anymore.
It made me think about my generation. I'm 37 and I often wonder what is going to happen to my generation when we are all 70. I don't know many people who have pensions, and I don't think many of use are saving as much as we should in our 401ks since so many of us have student loans. How will society cope when millions of Americans are suddenly to old to work, but can't afford to live? I don't think there's an answer, but it's something I worry about sometimes.
