Hello. I am retired, haven't had an employer in many years, and just started a volunteer commitment. It is an unpaid position, but we do get compensated with gift cards, event tickets, and the like. We were informed that if we are late 2 times in a 6 month period, we will be removed from the schedule for 30 days. The reason for the tardy doesnt matter. This seems rather extreme to me.
