I’m a member of SEIU, and our RNs make less than every other hospital around, even make less than the nurses in other hospitals in our system. The union just recommended that we ratify a contract that leaves ~20% of our staff with no raise for 3 years. It’s frustrating to feel like the union is getting us nothing and I’m just wondering if there’s anything we could do to help our nurses out.
