I have worked for 11 months with my current employer and due to a recent interaction with my “career manager” (I work in consulting) I want to find another job. The issue is that my notice period is 3 months and I don't want to be fire immediately.
I had a meeting with my manager last week because I took 4 days of sick leave after taking 2 weeks of annual leave. I was questioned in a condescending way of why I took sick leave, I don't like management at my job (noone else does neither).
I do not have a job lined up and I think it would be a dealbreaker as lots of recruiters have contacted me. I have 2 years of experience but it still would be a bit of a challenge to find a job – it took a month last time to find my current job. Shall I put in my notice ASAP or wait to find another job?
