Posted this too r/askwomenadvice last night and most of those chicks seemed like they were taking up for the bullshit my girlfriends manager did. Im not looking for justification but I feel this is a much proper sub to post this in.
My girlfriend got fired from the chiropractor office she worked at today after only a week and a half of training with the company. Her manager (that she met for the first time today) told her that she felt like she wasn't grasping the material and that she felt like she needed extra support with training (?) She said she felt that since she couldn't help her get the training they had to let her go. Although my girlfriend is getting trained by people and they are saying she's doing a great job and she felt good and excited and this is something she wanted to do. Her manager and her other coworkers were on the same page with getting rid of her in the end apparently.
My thing is she quit her last job (a Jaguar dealership that I helped her get in since I worked for the same company) after 7 months because they were even plotting to replace her and get rid of her. It took her a full month (the whole month of October going into November) to find another Job and this foolishness happened.
I gave her manager at the chiropractor office a piece of my mind (professionally) and told her that she lost a damn good employee. So now my girlfriend is distraught, crying, and doesn't know what to do anymore and wonders how she's going to keep up with her side of bills. I'm to the point that I just want her to stop working, stay home, and I man the fuck up and continue to work my long hrs. I just want her to retire early (within the next 2 yrs) even though she's 23 now. It's just that I feel no one gets along with her albeit managers, coworkers etc. And that has shown within her last 3 jobs. I've worked with her for a year before we started dating and shes always carried a great work ethic. It's just that people don't like her because she is intimidating, a Hispanic woman, has a learning disability that makes some things hard to grasp for her at first, or all 3. She can't work from bell to bell much longer and I honestly don't want her too. What's a better alternative other than working a remote job? Thanks.
P.S.We live in South Florida (if that helps with anything)
