What to do about the new GM

So to get the basics out of the way: I currently work a fast food job, no big deal, but I'm a damn good employee. I cover whenever I can and always make sure to try and smooth over the rough edges of my coworkers when they'd otherwise be slipping a bit that shift. Or I was rather, I put in my notice shortly after our new General Manager started, before I had worked with him in fact, mostly because the pay wasn't worth staying without the old, very good, GM. So to get the basics out of the way:
I currently work a fast food job, no big deal, but I'm a damn good employee. I was amicable, I gave him 2 weeks and an extra five days so my last day wouldn't be in the middle of a schedule. The next day the schedule for what would have been that last week is published and I'm not on it. During my shift later that day I hear from an shift manager the new GM is planning on firing three of my coworkers. He has also cut everyones hours and put together a skeleton crew schedule. I wasn't bothered by my last week being cut, but the other things tell me it's about to be bad for my coworkers. My question is should I go ahead and out the GM's plans for firing people and lay out my general assessment of how things are about to break bad, and to highlight to my coworkers that their situation isn't worth what is now 15 cents over minimum wage for no more than 15-20 hours a week. Or would it be inappropriate for me to blow up things right as I'm leaving?
