I honestly don't know what will happen, but I do recall reading in Justice Clarence Thomas' memoir that a law student once suggested he file for bankruptcy to alleviate the “crushing weight” of his debts. However, Thomas rejected the idea and didn't repay his loans until he was in his mid-40s and already serving as a justice. Although I wouldn't expect him to rule in favor of anyone these days, I am still intrigued by the other justices and their potential rulings.
