what’s a sign for you that will make you quit your job?

i’ve (f 24) been an instructional designer for almost 2 years now. we have good benefits, i work from home, we work at flexi time (i can work for 3 hrs max only per day), and my salary is comparably high considering that i live in the province. my coworkers are great but most of them are planning on resigning so i’m scared about that, since we get along well, considering my mental illnesses. (there aren’t a lot of companies with coworkers who value and understand your mental health here in the philippines). but as someone with double depression (PDD + MDD), the more i stay in this WFH set-up, the more miserable i get. i almost got to a point where i was so depressed i considered offing myself. i don’t particularly like the work i do. it doesn’t stimulate me nor challenge me. i only feel like a…

but as someone with double depression (PDD + MDD), the more i stay in this WFH set-up, the more miserable i get. i almost got to a point where i was so depressed i considered offing myself. i don’t particularly like the work i do. it doesn’t stimulate me nor challenge me. i only feel like a cog in a capitalist machine. i think an onsite job will work better for me, but i would prefer it to be high-paying and in the day shift (BPOs and call centers for foreign companies are really the rule here, since our economy has an export-oriented labor, so we work mostly at night shift, US time).

the catch with quitting my job is that it’s hard to look for a job here in the province which promises the same pay and is aligned with my ideals and values. i’ve decided to pursue a career next time that is aligned with my values because i want to finally get started in my career for the long run instead of just switching jobs every other year and doing some pointless and draining capitalist bullshit.

advices are very much welcome. apologies for the disorganized writing.
