What’s that in your shoe?

I used to have a job that would search you on the way in and out of the shop floor. They weren't allowed to touch you but you had to undo your belt and run your fingers along the circumference on your trousers. Unstuck and shake your shirt and remove your shoes. When clocking in you would give your fingerprint for proof of timestamp it wasn't your colleague doing you a favour. If you didn't identify at least one possible shoplifter a week you'd have to report to security why you hadn't being paying attention and giving them leads… so… you would make false accusations to security to get them off your back and some poor customer would have surveillance.
