What’s the point of an exit interview? Should I express why this place sucks and why I am leaving?

I am currently on my final week at my company, and they asked me to appear for an exit interview at the end of this week. I haven't ever had to do this, and I am not sure what it's going to be like? This company is shady as hell so I have a lot to say negatively.. is this the time to do it? My old company was bought out by this company and we started working here on December 1st 2021 (yes.. right before Christmas they laid off a bunch of people), and they were very adamant that we would be able to keep our PTO that was in December/January. That was a lie. We've been fully remote for a long time, and we were told this was going to be fine. That was a lie. My pay (I am a legal assistant) is LITERALLY $16/hr. Benefits are…

Benefits are not terrible, but they are not good. I am moving to a company that pays $20/hr and has better benefits. I was going to be okay with staying here until the CEO (who is never in any of our offices btw) mentioned we all need to be in office 5 days a week. FIVE. “I miss seeing all the decorations for your desks.” I am currently getting my BA in Computer Science, so I was okay with the shit pay so long as I stayed remote.

My entire team is quitting, and they're asking us why. They asked me to stay another week, but I declined. To be honest I put my notice in TODAY (4 day notice) even though I had my offer a week ago lol, they asked for more notice than 4 days, but then an hour later in a meeting let me know that they are also currently laying more people off. Is the exit interview the perfect place to let them know this place sucks?

Also I do want to add that my team went in office 1 day in January to make sure we got all the paper from our old office sorted and mailed and we were told that our laughter and talking needed to be stopped.
