When corporate makes the rules during bad weather..

We had a bad straight line thunderstorm in my area the other night and we were warned there would be large hail and a few possible strong tornadoes. What do you think corporate said when we noticed other businesses in the same mall closing early and putting sand bags at the exits? 'Nah, we're staying til close.' I looked up the main corporate office and it was three states over in a different city. No tornado warnings there. And we'd get written up or fired if we walked out early on our own accord. Plus, they also control our ac so not only were we complaining about how hot it was in the store, so we're customers. The fact that a single store can't decide what is good for it's location is one reason why corporate is such a mess.
