Science labor in America is extremely messed up.
Bc scientists are a class of people that refuses to unionize in any way, they get SO mistreated.
You get middle men staffing agencies coming in all the time, acting like real companies, when they are just fronting as the real company. They are actually just middle men contracted to get labor for the real company you are applying to.
While you make 25$/hr, they get paid 10$ for every hour you work, rather than the company they represent, just hiring you and paying you 35$/hr.
Fuck America. Education here does not prevent you from getting boned, if anything it makes you more of a target.
