When your direct supervisor tells you to ask your ex for more child support because raises are not an option ATM

I was having a conversation with my team supervisor and we addressed layoffs that happened at my company over a month ago (20% of the work force was laid off). Though annual raises are not promised, they are based on your performance and thus far I’ve been exceeding all of my quarterly goals. I mentioned that I would be bringing up to my manager during 1:1 what the expectations will be to qualify for a raise so I can start accomplishing those. She answers this with – oh I don’t see company giving out any raises anytime soon, I would talk to your ex to see if you can get more money for child support so that you have additional money in your bank account (her and I have gone to lunch together where I expressed that my ex has been signing up for more overtime, which is resulting our…

To which I responded with – that is a personal matter that is not at all related to work and that I need to have an incentive coming from my company rewarding the quality of work I’m providing.

Am I wrong for feeling like she was completely out of line making that remark?
