How’s an elevator mechanic working on a job in Southern California. You’re constantly working with different contractors on when they get their work done. I needed to have a meeting with an electrician to find out when they were gonna stub out their work in the pit. I knew the contractor wouldn’t be able to get to it for about a week. That was OK with me. I talk to the contractor electrician and just what I thought he said it’ll take about a week. My reply to him was OK I’ll wait and I just stood there. There was a couple other contractors who were standing waiting to talk to the electrician they heard what I had said and kind of snickered and stood there waiting for the electrician to realize what I had said. When the electrician got done talking to a person after me he kind of saw me standing there and he said you do know that I said it was gonna take a week. My reply to him was yes I know I’ll wait. The other contractor started cracking up then either the electrician realized I made a funny.
