Since I’ve seen a lot of posts about really bad Christmas gifts from employers…I’d like to know what you’d think about this gift.
My husband is a front line manager with the federal govt. He normally gives his employees $10 Starbucks gift cards out of his own pocket.
Doesn’t have to, most other managers don’t bother with anything. But he has a far different management style than most and his employees actually like him.
However we’ve recently moved to an area that Starbucks isn’t on every corner. I just…no. It just didn’t feel like a good gift for here.
So this year I crocheted Santa hats for everybody. Filled a Christmas tin with candy, smiley face stress ball and small phone chargers that I found that were $10.
If you were his employee would you prefer a $10 gift card over my little hokey gift?
