Which way to go?

Hey everyone. Abit longwinded sorry but I dont know what to do. Also sorry if i come across as being a nob or ungrateful etc i honestly just telling it how it is. I recently started a role which pays me £13.25ph 37.5hours the hours are very flxible can do a 6-2 or a 9-5 etc they arnt bothered. This is for 3 months while on agency and then goes to £14 with a contract which I have in writing. Here I am after 4 months still on 13.25 and been told that theres trouble with the contract talk and unions etc stopping me being offered one till jan – feb. Now the thing is…this job is really easy. Like I am way overqualified for it and can get a days work done in 3 hours and pretty much have the rest of the day to do whatever I want…

Like I am way overqualified for it and can get a days work done in 3 hours and pretty much have the rest of the day to do whatever I want whilst in my van travelling around other sites. Playing games on the switch. Watching netflix on my tablet etc etc The company love me and everyone is happy iv settled in here. Lifes easy and relaxed and i get left alone barely had a call in 2 weeks.

This job will still be the same job in 10 years time and realistically the pay wont get much better.

Now the dilemma is.

I have been offered a job with a much more significant firm.

Would be a basic of £14ph with 42.5 hours a week.
Similar money but more hours.

This firm would be 8-5 but more like 8.30-4.30 as i leave home at 8and back for 5.

This role will be full on. I will be out of my depth at the beginnng and will have to give it all of my energy to get things going smoothly.

This firm is a strong beleiver in development and upskilling me and already asking how i would like to progress so ultimately seems a promising future…..

So to put it blunty…

Hardly work for decent money and lots of spare time….

Or

Work alot harder for similar money but long term potential.

My partner says the first option for a better family life.

My brain says 2nd option for long term stability

Sorry for the whining. Congrats if your still here and thanks for any advice / abuse im about to receive
