Why is it that the management of corporations are starting to push for more diverse workforce for hiring? When a White management is doing fine but they want to all of a sudden have more minorities working there, why do corporations want more minorities working in their companies?
I was at a career fair at my school just visiting and not actually interviewing with anyone. For example, I saw Boeing was there and they brought in recruiters who were all Black and one of them was wearing a headscarf. This was very interesting to see since from what I know about Boeing and their workforce culture, nearly all of their management are Middle aged White men and women. I don’t understand the rationale behind companies going out of their way to hire more minorities for tokenism?
