I have been at this toxic job for more than a year, other day I had maken a mistake at my job from January thar was brought to my attention from.my sales department.
As i was in a rush , I emailed the deparmtent that handles fixing these issue regarding this and to.my concern, I realized I hadn't cc my bosses and because it was too late. That deparmtnet escalated the issue to my bosses.
My bosses were so mad cuz they weren't cc'd which led them to believe I was trying to.hide my mistake(partially true considering my bosses don't beleive in human mistakes) and if I've done so.in the past . Conclusion was to.cc them.all the time.
Anyway today they emailed regarding the conversation yesterday and how they (boss) should had been cc'd , also cc'd in thar email.was hr.
Because that got.me so mad i.just responded back to that emilail saying what i did wasn't wrong and that I was trying to.fix my mistake, I'll do so.in the future.
At this point, why can't my employer just simply fire me.if.they domt want me.here anymore?
After all, im in a at-will state and why r they now cc HR to email regarding mistakes? (After a year later)
