Is work-ptsd a thing? If so, I'm sure i have it.
This is my second post about my current workplace and it seems the agenda to push me out is in force since the confrontation about my commission.
Now they're going after my rostered days off. Because my (currently in chemo) supervisor is a close friend of the family, i hesitantly agreed to allow the 'standard' eleven day fortnight roster on my contract. She assured I'll get to keep my 2 days off a week. (Essential for medical appointments and mental health peace)
Now that she's away, the dictatorship has decided they want to make me work an additional day a month and have said I'll lose pay for the extra rostered days on that i don't attend. I'm sorry but the law (for NSW) is 7 days notice in writing with the opportunity to discuss/resolve issues, which I've not been given.
My concerns raised were met with more robotic generic responses, palming the matter off to the managers not available.
I fear i have no leg to stand on legally due to my trust. When my gut told me to push for it in writing, i now hate the thought that my trust has blown up in my face.
Beyond this instance there have been endless instances leading me to feel my employers don't have my best interest at heart… So again i begin the hunt for greener pastures that never come.
Don't ever trust. Get everything in writing.
