Why do so many people rn say that having a “dream job” as a kid means you were brainwashed by capitalism into wanting to work?

Most kids' dream jobs in their heads and in real life are incredibly useful. Stuff like veterinarian, astronaut, firefighter, engineer, writer, artist etc, all without even imagining the annoying stuff like bosses and bad pay. Thats because those careers are based off passions and interests which we wish to pursue. The real shit part of capitalism comes not in “brainwashing kids to have dream careers”, but in making those “dreams” impossible so as they grow older they find themselves completely giving up on past motivations and settling for the worst jobs just to stay alive. Most kids dont dream of being a 9 to 5 retail worker in severe college debt.
