Hey there,
Basically, in the USA, with 2.3 million dollars as your net worth, you'd be in the top 4 % richest roughly I believe.
In most places in Europe (Germany, France, Uk, Italy, Spain yada yada) that would straight up put you in the top 1%.
I have to say that I wonder why the difference is so huge. The funny thing is that the median wealth is higher in the countries I mentioned compared to America despite the rich being so rich there.
Furthermore, I keep seeing posts from several people (on this subreddit) saying that they'd be glad to trade places with Europeans, but if the “rich” in Europe as so much poorer than the “rich” in America…is it really such a good idea overall?
This may be a bit of a naive question, but I'm just asking, no flame please.
