Most jobs pay lile $15 when rent is $1100+ plus a deposit fee which is usually equal to 1 month of rent. On top of that, those entry level jobs go through hundreds of candidates being all competitive for like $15 an hour. So annoying when they ask you all these questions during and you have to impress 100%. And on top of that, that lie too… Employer promise you all these things and when you get the job is not even the reality of it.
I have some friends who have no jobs but somehow make it here, probably because of being married or have family.
Anyways, a rant. Besides some catering work, I haven't seen anything other entry level paying higher.
