Just as the title reads, why isn't there done form of organized group or organization to represent workers worldwide? I can totally understand the nightmare it would be to actually keep track of multiple countries, each with their own labour laws, but, can you imagine…
We're past the globalization era, we're free to come together and organize, like fellow redditord flock to subreddits like this one. Think of the potential for worldwide strikes. If corporation dislike their bottomline being affected by strikes and pesky unions, imagine what a timezone organized strike of multiple industries would be like, one single day, billions on strike freezing the economy for 24 hours, costing trillions to every rich fuck on Earth.
This is just a silly idea I've had for a while thst I'm finally sharing online, but I can't be the only one who thinks this SHOULD be a thing, right?
