Why no general strike?

Dystopia at our doorstep. The middle class completely wiped out. What do we have to lose besides our futures when we do nothing? There's no political party to help people get back to earning liveable wages. Owners, investors, and upper management won't give up overpaying themselves. Hard to believe there's no talk of anything like this in an organized way. Even my parents think the country should go on strike and they're fucking boomers. The median income of the upper 10% is $173k. That means you have to be that 1 in 10 people to afford a middle class home today. That's how much the people over the 1% are making today. They're raking it in and it's all being hidden away. That's where all the money is going. We can take it all back. There is only one option. Shut it down.
