As of recently my wife's boss is scheduling meetings from 5-8pm on a regular occasion because he said she's not allowed to talk to him during work time. This is for a “start-up” culture. She's consistently rated #1 in customer satisfaction and delivery of products to the client with 5 star ratings.
I tend to barge in on some of the conversation where he will say “we're not really sure why your number 1 when your work doesn't reflect it” and “you aren't following the process”. I told her I don't think a lawyer would assist since she's salary and they could legally make her work 24/7 365 days a year with no breaks. Any opinions into helping her? She's always strung out often working 12-14 hour days for a salary of 65k.
