Will there ever be a workers’ revolt? If so, what more will it take to finally happen??

Serious Question… Inequality and the disintegration of the “Middle-Class”. The explosion of high rent, student loan debt, and higher cost of food. Stagnant wages and lack of personal savings… All the data shows that none of this will change anytime soon so my question remains, what more will it take for people to actually take things to a national strike or a workers revolt? Perhaps it will never happen, maybe it will but we are not as close to the brink as it may seem… Am I completely wrong, partially wrong or is this a valid question to be confronted..? Lastly, this is not intended as typical political position. I am not pushing an agenda aside from equity. Note: My assertions above seem self-evident but I can only interpret what it is that I see in my life.
