For context I live in Chicago, IL.
I don’t know what the laws are as far as anything like this goes, and with rules loosening I was wondering if anyone could tell me… Two of my coworkers exposed me to COVID and a manager told me that they weren’t allowed to say anything but that HR should have contacted us by now. I’ve gotten no notifications that I’ve been in close contact with coworkers who have tested positive. I am most likely positive as well.
I’m frustrated that I wasn’t told and that I only know because of rumors and a manager insinuating to me they weren’t allowed to say anything if someone did test positive but “if someone isn’t coming to work and they’re scheduled… make conclusions…”
