I injured myself at work and am going through the claim process, which is terrible as Woolworths have their own insurer and everything is done internally.
Some background info:
- When I saw my doctor for the injury they didnt note it down as a workplace injury
- In order to complete the claim I need a “fit for work” certificate.
- Doctor won't give me a “fit for work” certificate as he doesn't believe it was a workplace injury, according to his notes.
- Said if I was able to get the paperwork that woolworths have recorded about the claim and initial injury report they would be able to help
- Store manager is refusing to give me the documents.
What are my options?
