My work expects you to be in unless you're on your knees because you're so ill. That includes if you have COVID. Needless to say I now have it for the first time and boy am I ill. First thing I'm told when I ring in sick: people come in with COVID they just wear masks, but obviously you sound too sick for that. Great. I caught COVID because someone else felt obligated to go to work with a highly infectious illness – other people likely have too.
