Work Guilt got me upset that I took off

I got a bladder infection yesterday. Not the first time, but also not sure how I got it. It wasn't too bad, but then when I went in for work today, it was awful. I ended up only working 4 hours before leaving early. I used PPTO to cover the rest of the shift and tomorrow because it was just awful. But then after I was at home, taking painkillers and sipping on some cranberry juice, I was like “I feel a lot better. I could have probably worked.” And I keep mentioning it to my sister, but she's won't agree with me and keep saying “They were your hours,” and “You can't help that you're sick”. I still feel bad about it, but I shouldn't feel bad at all! I wasn't going to use those days for vacation or anything because I never go out. And it's not like it's going to affect my pay because it's Protected PAID Time Off. Plus it was super low today and probably tomorrow, so there was no point in me being there.

But I did just have my two days off, and I'm going to have another day off later. So I had 2 days off, worked 1 1/2 days, then have 2 1/2 more days off. Like, sounds good, but it makes me nervous as if I have no job security (which I don't technically speak). Idk, it's just annoying.
