I'm looking for some advice. Currently at work now and having a very hard time focusing, and I'm constantly debating if I want to keep my job.
A quick background: I work full-time in an office where we wear a lot of hats. I've been here over 2 years. This year has been really unfortunate health-wise (combo of Covid and allergies) and I recently suffered a full week of burn-out… So now I no longer have sick and personal time.
After the burnout, I went to my boss and asked if she could reduce my hours to 6 a day, which was refused. This was very frustrating.
Due to the fact that I've been absent for 19 days out of the year so far, I got a final written warning from my boss last week.
I've been struggling with some burnout/depression today and requested to leave early, in which my boss told me that could violate my warning, which did not help my mental state.
I cannot physically get myself to work for the next hour… I don't know what I can do here. My health insurance is great, but I only make about $19/hr but I'm struggling… I do like the work, but I've been doing so much but my work does not last me 8 hours anymore…
Does anyone have any advice??
