So basically work runs a tracking software that tracks mouse and keyboard activity as well as screen activity. When I started working here, it was no problem. I got my work done and my manager was happy with the work I turned in and basically told me to keep the software “active” but as long as I did my work he'd just put in the hours to HR and basically simply accepted that there wasn't enough work to do to keep me busy 8hrs straight.
Speed forward months. Boss left the company for better job. HR now inputs the hours, but they do it based on the tracking software 3 times now I've gotten an email from them asking me what I'm doing on the days I have definitely just fked off and let the PC run. Each time they email it's more aggressively suggesting I'm doing nothing. Luckily, I have timestamped data in emails and on the machines that would suggest I'm working all day and their software is just not working.
Now I still get more work done every week than they even have the expectations of, about 25% more work every week than what is expected. And I almost never go for overtime although I have unlimited overtime. But this HR chick is definitely suspicious ASF. Not sure what to do.
I work remotely and connect remotely to a seperate PC(let's say remote machine) where that remote machine has the tracking software, and my mouse jiggling software is on the Main Work PC (MW PC). Is there a better mouse jiggler free or I have to pay that is software based I can run off the MW PC that also has keyboard macros I can run in addition to the mouse movement? What would y'all do to alleviate suspicion?
Thanks.
