I work 2 jobs. One boarding/ dog sitting and the other one a sales associate. ( my manager knows I also work boarding dogs) I work 6 days a week 9 hour shifts as a sales associate (1 hour unpaid lunch) this week I called out twice because I had to take care of a clients puppy and the people in my house work morning those days like me so I can’t just leave the pupper by herself home.
My manager calls me furious saying I’m not allowed to to call out Saturday or any for that matter because it’s the holiday month and it’s mandatory and pretty much said that’s not a good excuse and told me to come in and work a night shift.
I’m NOT coming in to work that night shift because I think it’s ridiculous that they called me after I already called out just to tell me I’m not allowed to!! On top of me already dedicating over 48 hours a week into their company!!!!
