My mom has a shoulder injury from her job and has been on workers comp for 5 months. She told me about how her boss has been calling her to come back to work but my mom tells them that she needs to finish all her doctors appointments and physical therapy. Today my mom said her adjuster said she needs to return to work and she hasn’t started physical therapy yet. She still has appointments coming up in December and they said they’ll pay her until then but after that she’ll have to go back to work. I have no idea how any of this works but can they say that? My mom still experiences pain in her shoulder and hasn’t started physical therapy.
EDIT: Thank you for your comments! I believe they will just put her on light duty as well to accommodate for her.
