Working fast food is slavery

I don’t have a good job, I’m an app delivery driver. But today I stood in a Taco Bell waiting for a 19 item order for 30 minutes and just couldn’t fathom working there for 8 hours a day. Everyone is sad, no one is talking to one another, the workers just look up at the screen and make the $3 tacos to the $9 premium menu items without a word all for $10-$12/hour. It was just so depressing to be in that space for so long. I honestly really hope these types of jobs become automated (replaced with robots) very soon and the sad people working these jobs get a supplemental minimum income (my thoughts are the equivalent of $50k/year in 2015) from the government very soon. It just feels like abuse at this point rather than giving people jobs.
