Working for a psycho isn’t reason enough for quitting a job 2 months in

So I took a job after being laid off. The interview process was fast. I was told I’d get a bonus. 401k – all dope benefits. Then I started with a cohort. After a meet up with leadership and hype fest. I jumped into the project – the clients were toxic because my employer treated them like idiots prior to the cohorts arrival so they got offended. They redid the contract and what was once 5 years disappeared to 4 months. Leadership didn’t show up to any meetings for a month. When we would dm them; no reply. However they were active on LinkedIn. And as a test I clicked their profile, to see if they follow other channels. Then the ceo immediately looked at mine…..every fucking day for 2 months. After a month this clown gets a call together and tells a joke story about how he failed once…

After a month this clown gets a call together and tells a joke story about how he failed once and places the toxicity on the team that was brand new vs admitting his own fault.

Further along, my job gets reduced to taking notes for a third party – for 12 hrs a day. Continual odd leadership behavior and gaslighting. There actually isn’t a 401k or bonus structure established but it was something “leadership” was wanting to do.

I apply for unemployment citing the diminishing role and volatility of leadership; only for a judge to keep questioning why I couldn’t stay employed & search for a job.
