title is basically the tl:dr
for a bit of backstory; I (16M) just turned 16 in February and got a job early/mid march at a fast food place we can call “lactose king”. my mom used to be assistant manager/second in charge when she worked there in 2007-2012, and shes still friends with the owner, who we will call R, so she asked her if I could come in for an interview. blah blah blah and now I've worked there since, and had coworkers come and go.
today one of the shift managers charged me for my break instead of letting me pay, as I get 50% off if I pay but only 25% when I charge. I also went on break almost immediately after clocking in at 5 pm, so it was a shitty break. at my job, we aren't allowed to pick when to go on break, which is fair enough i guess, but that usually means we get a break around 7 pm, midway through our shift (referring to me and my coworkers, as im friendly with most + dating one). instead, today i took break at 5:35 after making literally one shake, a single one, and when I clocked back in from break at 5:50, my coworker who was placed in ice cream with me went on break. i wasn't very upset considering that we weren't busy at all, but after he clocked back in he was sent to do dishes after I had asked him to get mix for the soft serve, which left me alone with five orders and no ice cream.
every night my mom picks me up from my work as well as my partner sometimes and she'll ask me how the days gone. today I told her a paraphrased version of above and she immediately said I should talk to the current AM, which I can't due to her leaving super early when she does show up. After I told my mom this she immediately decided to talk to R, and knowing how often she talks to her and gets food at lactose king, shes sure to follow through. im scared they'll attempt to fire me by nitpicking everything i do, and racking up my points with our point system. I can't work at any other fast food places due to legal issues with family, and my current job is the only place in town that has my bio mom banned outright. if i wanted to work at walmart id have to have shitty bosses and more of a chance to see you know who, so thats out of the plan.
my only shot at any other kind of money is art commissions, and i have little following on anything for my art, so id be getting maybe 100 bucks a month compared to my now 800, which im saving for top surgery as an adult.
ending this with a question, anyone have any ideas on how to get money in the case i do get fired?
