Would it be wrong to refuse bosses mandatory overtime?

I've been at this company for 6 years. This is not the first time I've had issues with my employer. It's a long list but a few note worthy incidences are, being told I need to sacrifice my personal time to get my job done, not being reimbursed for certain company payments i fronted the original bill, and nothing being done about my personal property being stolen from a company vehicle. Onto today's issue. I work for a small company that employs less than a dozen people. Recently my boss has taken on a workload that is impractical for a company as small as ours to complete in a timely manor. 2 people have been working on the project for a week. Onto today's issue. I work for a small company that employs less than a dozen people. Recently my boss has taken on a workload that is impractical for a company as small as ours to complete in a timely manor. 2 people have been working on the project for a week. The original scope of the work was supposed to be 3 weeks for the 1st phase to be completed. The deadline for this has been pushed up to next week.

He has been taking people from other areas and moving them from their projects to the big project. I already have a substantial work load for myself and my partner. And due to this new project, I have been having to serve in for the people that have been taken away from their projects and finishing their original work load, on top of mine.

Today my boss called me and said that not only was he pulling me from my projects, he was also going to be requiring everybody to work Saturdays in order to get this new project done.

My normal hours are 730am to 5pm M-F. I will come in at 5am from time to time to help get a jump on my projects when needed, or I feel like it. My GF has already communicated to me that she does not want me working on the weekends just as much as I do not want to.

I understand the potential repercussions from my refusal to do so, and prepared for the fallout of such actions. Would it be wrong of me?
